I just got back from a 2-week trip to Punjab and among all the places I visited (7 cities in total), I stayed at Ludhiana the longest. During my drive to and from Kila Raipur and also around the city, I couldn’t help but notice how many wedding and banquet halls there were! Almost every hotel was a banquet hall and most of them do not offer accommodation, but only space for events. Anntilia Inn was one place that offered both.
Located around 6 km from the railway station and 12 km from the airport, this luxury hotel is very conveniently located – it is not in the heart of the city’s chaotic markets or on the outskirts of the city, but straddled in between. To be precise, it is around 4 km from the city center, making it ideal if you’d like a bit of peace and quiet while having access to all the hotspots around. Bang in front of the gate of the hotel is a petrol pump, but even so, it is hard to miss the grand facade of this hotel in Ludhiana. Isn’t it stunning? Straight out of a storybook!
Anntilia Inn – Ludhiana
Anntilia Inn – the name itself is inspired by the Antilia Building – the home of one of India’s billionaires – Mukesh Ambani. Apart from the name, there are no other similarities that this hotel in Ludhiana and the mansion in Mumbai possess. However, the hotel is tastefully done and offers travelers a comfortable place to stay while exploring the city.
Anntillia Inn spans 3 floors in total and the ground floor has a spacious reception and an indoor banquet hall for weddings and other celebrations. On one side of the building is space for outdoor events and it is here that live counters serving chaat, jalebi, tikka, and more are set up during events.
This executive hotel in Ludhiana has rooms on the first floor and the second-floor rooms are currently being built.
My Room at Anntilia Inn
The hotel in general is well-maintained and beautiful to look at. In fact, it is so new that it is one of the city’s newest properties and I was one of the first guests to stay in the room I was allotted. There are around 6 rooms in total and while the hotel rooms are best suited for those who are part of the event being held at the property, it is ideal for travelers of any age as well. From families to digital nomads and from couples to girl gangs and friends, you can book one room (or many) in the hotel and enjoy the amenities they offer. The room tariff is around Rs. 3500 inclusive of breakfast, but you can find cheaper deals on OTA platforms.
The rooms are sufficiently spacious with ample wardrobe space, side tables, one chair, and a table. Although I would have liked a work desk, one can manage without it. My room was tastefully done and room service was very efficient in getting the room cleaned and minor issues fixed at once.
The hotel does not boast of amenities like a spa or a pool, but the food at Anntilia Inn was definitely one of the highlights. Breakfast was delicious, and filling and the tea was prepared the way we requested – which is very important to people like me who can’t start the day well unless I’ve had a good caffeine fix. We also ordered an amazing egg biryani for lunch on one of the days and it was simply fabulous! I should also mention that breakfast here is a la carte with Indian, Continental, and American options.
On the downside, our room did not have a view but looked out into an alleyway at the back. This may have been a good thing because, on Day 2 of our stay, there was a wedding on the property, and rooms facing the front may have got a bit of music reaching the rooms.

Overall, Anntilia Inn could not have been a more perfect place to experience the city for the first time! We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door and the pleasant service was the cherry on the cake. If you’re a fuss-free traveller who is looking for plush accommodation on a budget, can do without luxurious frills, and values cleanliness, privacy, and space, head over to Anntilia Inn’s website and book a stay. If you plan to spend most of the day exploring and only come back to the hotel to relax, work or sleep, you will be pleased with the property. It was an awesome feeling coming back to such a soft and comfortable bed. It made getting up in the morning very tough!
